Nizhoni Music uses music and its many aspects ~ physical, emotional, mental, social, cultural, aesthetic, and holistic ~ to assist clients in developing, rehabilitating, and maintaining optimal health, functioning, and well being throughout the course of life.
Antoinette Neff is a board-certified music therapist, holding a bachelors in music education with emphasis in music therapy from Southwestern Oklahoma State University since 1990. She has received specialized training in Music Therapy Assisted Childbirth, Neurologic Music Therapy, DIR/Floortime, Musikgarten, Music Together, and Roots of Rhythm. Antoinette has presented to the Gallup McKinley County Schools, UNM-Gallup, Navajo Nation Head Starts, Parents as Teachers, Southwest Consortium of Indian Head Start Programs, and the Western Health Foundation’s Developing the Whole Child Conference. Neff is the Director for the Gallup Community Concerts Association. She has served as the Government Relations Representative for Texas, New Mexico and Oklahoma; and, is currently New Mexico’s Government Relations liaison for the Southwestern Region of the American Music Therapy Association (AMTA). She is a member of the AMTA, Music Educators National Conference (MENC), and the Gallup Chamber of Commerce.
